BIR eFPS

The Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) has accredited UnionBank as premier provider of corporate e-payments for the Electronic Filing and Payment System (EFPS). With this facility in place, you are now able to e-pay your internal revenue taxes in an on-line and real-time manner.

How Does It Work?

The Corporate e-Payment facility provided to BIR is very simple. All you have to do is log-on to the BIR's eFPS facility, select an internal revenue tax to e-pay and choose UnionBank as your e-payment provider. You will be automatically directed to the Corporate e-Payment facility of UnionBank. In authorizing internal revenue tax payments, you have two options:

1.1st Option: AUTHORIZE NOW - This option allows you to e-pay your internal revenue taxes right away. A real-time acknowledgment number will be immediately generated as proof that your e-payment transaction has been successfully transmitted to BIR.

2.2nd Option: AUTHORIZE ePAYMENT LATER - This option has been introduced by UnionBank in conjunction with BIR's recent ruling called Revenue Regulations 26-2002 or the Mandatory Staggered eFiling of EFPS Taxpayers, which allows you to advance e-file your tax return forms without necessarily e-paying on the same date. This means that you will be able to follow your advance e-file schedule based on your industry grouping and at the same time, give you freedom to e-pay on your preferred date so you can maximize your funds. With this new feature, you can now log-on directly at the UNIONBANK website to authorize your e-payment transactions. A real-time acknowledgment number will be immediately generated as proof that your e-payment transaction has been successfully transmitted to BIR.
