UnionBank successfully closed its Lower Tier 2 Subordinated Notes attracting widespread interest from both retail and institutional investors and bringing in fresh long-term funds to the Bank’s capital base.  UnionBank was able to price its LT2 Subordinated Notes at 7.375%, representing a spread of less than 100bps over the 5-year benchmark rate, amidst a cautious environment and a number of competing issues in the market.   read more
